Courageous You Counseling is proud to offer high quality clinical supervision services to help support and develop the behavioral and mental health counseling workforce. I am committed to helping associate-licensed behavioral and mental health counselors learn advanced skills and obtain their independent licenses. ​
​I utilize an integrative model of clinical supervision that combines strength-based, person-centered, humanistic, solution-focused, culturally sensitive, goal-oriented, and social-justice driven models of supervision. I strive to help each supervisee grow to become exceedingly competent, ethical, authentic, and a successful behavioral and mental health counselor. My clinical supervision services are conveniently provided online via HIPAA compliant live video conferencing to meet Washington State Department of Health Clinical Supervision Requirements.​​​
The purpose of supervision is to facilitate the supervisee’s
(a) clinical and professional development, self-awareness, and cultural competence;
(b) to increase and strengthen skills acquisition; and
(c) to ensure client welfare.

I collaborate with the supervisee in the assessment of clinical and professional competencies (knowledge, skills, and values/attitudes). Assessments are based on observation and report of clinical work, supervision, and competency instruments.​​
​
I have been in clinical supervision roles since 2014 and became certified with the Department of Health in WA to provide clinical supervision to associate level social workers, mental health counselors, and marriage and family therapists in 2021.​
